Enchanted Rock State Natural Area offered a ranger-led sunrise hike to Faltin’s Overlook. The approximately 2.5-mile round trip introduced visitors to the Faltin addition, an area then accessible through special guided programs.
The park’s listing called for advance registration and recommended water, long pants, insect repellent and good hiking shoes. The hike was included with park admission. This historical listing records the confirmed August program; it is not a current reservation notice.
