What can I say there comes a time when every chapter reaches its natural close, and for me, that moment has arrived. It is with a full heart and deep appreciation that I share the news that I am passing the Hill Country Visitor Magazine on to my son, Matthew Willis. Many of you already know Matthew well. Truth be told, he has been the quiet force behind the magazine for quite some time.
The advanced technology we use, the systems that keep us connected to thousands of subscribers by email and thousands more by SMS Matthew built it, refined it, or found it. His vision and innovation have helped make the Hill Country Visitor Magazine a trusted, recognizable brand throughout the Texas Hill Country. Because of his dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence, I can say with complete confidence that the magazine and all our valued advertisers are in exceptional hands moving forward.
As for me, I’m shifting my focus to the Shop Local First Loyalty Card Program, continuing my passion for supporting and uplifting small businesses across our region. It’s work that inspires me, and I look forward to pouring my energy into helping our local entrepreneurs thrive. It has truly been a pleasure serving our customers, partners, and the many wonderful people I’ve met along the way.
Whether you were a longtime supporter or someone I met only once, each connection has meant something to me. Thank you for the trust, the conversations, the collaborations, and the community we’ve built together. God bless the Texas Hill Country.
