The Blanco County Fair and Rodeo celebrated its 95th annual gathering with three days of activities reflecting the area’s farming and ranching traditions.

The published program began Thursday with a youth rodeo. Friday brought livestock activities, a queen’s contest and an 8 p.m. rodeo presented by the Lester Meier Rodeo Company, followed by a dance featuring the Jesse Stratton Band.

Saturday’s downtown Johnson City parade was scheduled for 10 a.m. The day continued with fairground activities, a queen’s coronation, another 8 p.m. rodeo and a dance featuring the Britt Ballenger Band.

Visitors could make a weekend of the celebration by exploring Johnson City’s restaurants, shops and nearby attractions. This article records the 2026 program; future dates should be checked with the organizer.
